BioRePeel, developed by CMed Aesthetics in Italy, is an innovative two-phase peel treatment that uses bio-stimulation, revitalization, and peeling agents to rejuvenate the skin while requiring minimal to no downtime and minimal to no post-treatment peeling (see more on this below!)

WILL I PEEL?

• Unlike traditional chemical peels, which mainly depend on the peeling effect of their acidic elements, BioRePeel employs a distinctive combination of active ingredients that are crucial for skin rejuvenation and result in minimal to no peeling post-treatment
• Damaged skin cells will shed therefore you may get certain areas of flaking/slight peeling around day 3 after your peel. This will be minimal. By day 7 post-treatment your peeling should have completely gone, revealing fresh and revitalised skin! Please note that this is dependant on your particular skin - some may find they do not flake or peel at all whereas some may - this does not change the efficacy of your treatment. Peeling, if it occurs, will be minimal.

This treatment includes;

Please note this treatment is not suitable if you have/are;

• Glycolic acid, salicylic acid or retinol use within the past week (please discontinue use one week prior to your treatment, if you have been prescribed please consult your dermatologist before doing so)
• botox/fillers in the past 28 days
• broken skin + active skin infections
• recent sunburn
• certain skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, or rosacea could potentially be exacerbated by a chemical peel - this will be discussed in our consultation
• previous or current skin cancer
• if you have an aspirin allergy

PRE-CARE - I recommend following the below steps one week prior to your appointment to prep your skin and achieve the best results;

• avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds
• remove the use of retinol, tretinoin, AHAs, and BHAs in your routine (if this has been prescribed to you please consult your dermatologist before doing so)
• avoid invasive at-home treatments including acids + over-exfoliation
• keep your routine as simple as possible in the lead-up to your treatment (gentle cleanser, moisturizer + SPF only)
• don't introduce new products into your skincare routine
• drink plenty of water + hydrate
• don't wax or shave your face
• complete your online consultation form
• please arrive to your appointment without make-up on

POST CARE - 7 days post treatment

• Apply SPF50 daily and reapply every 2-4 hours depending on your activity levels (sweating will cause the products to dilute or remove)
• Keep your routine very simple - just cleanse, moisturize and SPF50
• Do not pick your skin - if you experience any peeling or flaking apply plenty of moisturiser, any peeling should subside by day 7
• Use lukewarm water when cleansing
• Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds
• Avoid saunas, steam rooms and swimming to prevent irritation
• Do not have any other facial procedures done - allow your skin to rest for four weeks following your treatment
• If using a retinol/tretinoin resume use two weeks after your treatment
• Avoid applying make-up the week following your treatment when possible
